About LateNightCreator
LateNightCreator, Mykieya Potter, is an acrylic painter whose practice centers on storytelling through the human figure. Her work explores vulnerability and emotional presence, using the body as the main focus for reflection and self-recognition. Through intentional use of color and gesture, she examines feelings that are often suppressed, overlooked, or forgotten. Each painting draws from her personal experiences and observations, inviting viewers to reflect inward and engage with their own emotional beings.
With a background in theatre and film, she approaches painting with a cinematic POV as well. She treats each composition as a directed scene, where gesture, symbolism, and color function with deliberate purpose. Her work creates a dialogue between internal experience and external expression, bringing together the tension and connection between the two.
The goal of her practice is to evoke emotional resonance and stimulate a sense of vitality. By connecting the physical body to the inner spirit, LateNightCreator creates spaces where viewers may feel seen, liberated, and inspired to embrace their individuality.
